I am very pleased to contact for the first the Community. My post is a question about the automatic deployment of Projectwise Explorer. I am not very experienced in this Community. I am not really sure to be at the good place to post my question. So I apologize for my post in _maybe_ the "wrong spot". I have to deploy on hundred workstations a V8i Projectwise Explorer program. I opened the pwclt081111590en.EXE file and I found the ProjectWise Explorer V8i (SELECTseries 4) (x64).msi file. If I run the MSI file, the program give an UI that is incompatible with an automatic way to install PWE. Does anybody knows how to run this MSI file with .INI or XML or ... arguments file ?? Thank you to much for your help. Bernard.

Forum Post: ProjectWise InterPlot Organizer and ProjectWise InterPlot Server CONNECT Edition refresh released
A refresh of ProjectWise InterPlot Organizer and ProjectWise InterPlot Server CONNECT Edition (10.00.00.64) is available from the Software Downloads site. This release includes a few updates in the following areas:: Usage of an IMS account with Organizer and ProjectWise Explorer Managed Workspaces Clip boundaries when using MicroStation CE print engine Information from the initial ProjectWise InterPlot CONNECT Edition release: CONNECT Edition Support – ProjectWise InterPlot Organizer is now compatible with CONNECT Edition releases of ProjectWise, MicroStation, PowerDraft and other MicroStation-based applications. Support for PDF/A-1b Standard – PDF/A-1b is now supported in ProjectWise InterPlot Organizer when exporting to PDF, and also in digital archiving when creating PDF as an additional format. Microsoft Office Support – ProjectWise InterPlot Organizer is now compatible with Office 2010, 2013, 2016, and 365, including 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Processing Engine Requirement– InterPlot Organizer requires MicroStation, PowerDraft, Bentley View, or a compatible MicroStation-based application to act as a processing engine for the plotting of DGN and DWG files. This release no longer bundles Bentley View in the InterPlot Organizer setup files. However, if you do not already have a compatible processing application installed, download the free Bentley View application or a MicroStation-based application from Bentley's Software Downloads site. ProjectWise InterPlot Organizer CONNECT Edition is supported on Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit), Windows 8.1 (64-bit), Windows 10 (64-bit), Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) and Windows Server 2012 R2 (64–bit). ProjectWise InterPlot Server CONNECT Edition is supported on Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) and Windows Server 2012 R2 (64–bit). ProjectWise InterPlot CONNECT Edition supports plotting from MicroStation J, V8 2004, V8 XM Edition, V8i, V8i (SELECTseries 1 -4) and CONNECT Edition. When plotting to ProjectWise InterPlot Server CONNECT Edition, a hard copy or electronic deliverable such as PDF and TIFF is created from a variety of formats, including DGN, DWG, industry standard raster, DPR, PDF and Microsoft Office files. PDF files can be created locally from ProjectWise InterPlot Organizer in a standalone mode. ProjectWise InterPlot Organizer CONNECT Edition is enabled by a Bentley CONNECTIONS Passport License. Note: ProjectWise InterPlot Server CONNECT Edition (10.0.0.64) is only compatible with ProjectWise InterPlot driver products version 10.0.0.XX and later. Prior driver product versions are not compatible and can cause an error during plotting.

Forum Post: i-model Composition Server for i-models CONNECT Edition 10.00.02.59 now available on Software Downloads
The i-model Composition Server team is pleased to announce that a refresh of i-model Composition Service for i-models, Bentley Automation Service CONNECT Edition 10.00.02.59, is available from Software Downloads . Please refer to the "What's New" section below for a list of updates in this 10.00.02.59 release as well as the previous 10.00.02.20 release. What is i-model Composition Service for i-models? The i-model Composition Service for i-models automates the production of published, packaged and mobile i-models from design files stored in ProjectWise, based on pre-established workflow rules, eliminating manual processing. With the integration of i-model Transformer, this service enables transformations to create fit-for-purpose i-models. Features of i-model Composition Server for i-models: Produce intelligent deliverables in the form of Published, Packaged and mobile i-models Automate i-model creation from DGN, DWG, Civil 3D and IFC files managed in ProjectWise Automate jobs based on predefined settings and operational rules for format, filename and destination on a predefined schedule including specified files, folder contents or saved searches Create deliverables automatically as originating files are updated in ProjectWise What’s New in i-model Composition Server for i-models 10.00.02.59 (Refresh release): Support for MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 5 Support for ProjectWise CONNECT Edition Update 2.2 Full Managed Workspace support AECOsim Building Designer CONNECT Edition support What’s New in i-model Composition Server for i-models 10.00.02.20: Process management improvements More details in the Job Monitor job status Creates i-models from AutoCAD Civil 3D files Creates DgnDb 0601 format mobile i-models Important note: If users are running an older version of Bentley Automation Service and are not yet running the latest applications that read the new mobile i-model format, please do not have them upgrade to Bentley Automation Service CONNECT Edition until they transition to the new Navigator and mobile apps as BAS only produces the new format i-models. Bentley Navigator CONNECT Edition Update 3 or Navigator Mobile Update 3 are the minimum versions required to view .imodel files created from Bentley Automation Service CONNECT Edition. Integration with i-model Transformer 9.0.1.7 Older versions of iMT are no longer supported and BAS no longer delivers or requires the iMT install set. Users can download iMT from Software Downloads. Bentley i-model Transformer x86 Components 9.0.1.7 must also be installed and the installer is delivered in ...\Bentley\imodelTransformer\x86Components\. Use any MicroStation-based application as the DGN Indexing processing engine Bentley i-model Composition Server for i-models - Requires an i-model publishing engine of your choice (see the Readme on docs.bentley.com) and i-model Transformer if i-model transformation and validation is needed. With a SELECT contract, Bentley i-model Composition Server is enabled with an iCS V8i license or for a CSS it is part of the ProjectWise Design Integration Server Suite. DGN Indexing - This extension of Bentley Automation Service is used to create an index in the datasource of component-level information extracted from standard 2D and 3D DGN or DWG documents. This component-level information includes cells, levels, linestyles, etc. The DGN Indexing extension does not require a separate license. For more details on Bentley Automation Service CONNECT Edition, please see the Readme on docs.bentley.com. Currently, on the Software Downloads site, you will need to remove the "CONNECT Edition" filter in order to find Bentley Automation Service CONNECT Edition. We are working to clear up this issue.

Forum Post: INVPRINTER, The printer "\\Servername\Printer" is not a valid selection, please select a network printer on a plot server where Projectwise InterPlot Server is installed
I have a customer that is getting this Alert when they send prints to their printers.

Forum Post: RE: INVPRINTER, The printer "\\Servername\Printer" is not a valid selection, please select a network printer on a plot server where Projectwise InterPlot Server is installed
This Alert normally shows if the user has selected a printer (in the IPLOT dialog or InterPlot Organizer) on a server where ProjectWise InterPlot Server is not installed or the RPC Service is not running when trying to print to paper.

Forum Post: RE: INVPRINTER, The printer "\\Servername\Printer" is not a valid selection, please select a network printer on a plot server where Projectwise InterPlot Server is installed
Thanks Would this be the RPC Service on the server or customers workstation? I check server and the RPC is running on the Server, however, RPC (locator) is not there are 3 Iplot Servers and I see it's not running on the others, My thought is this is not a problem. One thing I recently ran SYSNOTE-17.02-IplotServer10 to update all servers.

Yes, the RPC Service we want to make sure is running on the machine where they have ProjectWise InterPlot Server is installed. You just updated this ProjectWise InterPlot Server to 10.00.00.64, is that correct? Can you use IPLOT on the server to plot to the same printer where it fails from the client? Have you rebooted the server? Perhaps send me a private message with your phone number and I will call you back.

Forum Post: ACAD .dsd file & ProjectWise
Hi, the problem I am having is related to Batch Plotting in ACAD and how they link up with ProjectWise. When you Batch Plot, ACAD creates a file (.dsd) that stores all of the print information. I have saved these files onto ProjectWise to use in the future and for others to also use. When a co-worker tried to use the Batch Plot file I created, we both realized that the file lost its association to ProjectWise. It was looking on my desktop, and was therefor useless for anyone else to use. Any ideas on how to keep these types of files working with ProjectWise? Thanks in advance.

Forum Post: RE: Error When Printing From IPLOT Organizer In ProjectWise (GEOPAK SS4 08.11.09.878)
Thanks for the update. My guess is that your Print Engine had some sort of a hiccup as it tried to process one or more files. Please let us know if you encounter the issue again.
