Hello, What happens is I try to run the exe as an administrator and the splash screen comes up and just goes away (no error) and I never get anything more so I never get the install to actually work. I downloaded this install again to make sure it was not the installer. I have installed the pre reqs but I still cannot get the install to install the program. Maybe the ACE-IT image on the machine has some things already installed like the Visual C++ version that is not playing nice--IDK. I have tried the install several times now. Do I need to call Bentley and place an incident ticket. The version I am trying to install on the Windows 10 computer 10.00.00.42 Thanks, Lori Sitter Eng. Tech/IT POC CESAS-EN-DD 100 W. An i-model publishing engine - can be any of the following: • MicroStation versions CONNECT Edition Update 4 – 10.04.00.46 CONNECT Edition Update 3 – 10.03.00.30 (no managed workspace support) CONNECT Edition Update 2 – 10.02.00.39 (no managed workspace support) V8i (SELECTseries 3) Update 3 - 08.11.09.829 • AECOsim Building Designer V8i (SELECTseries 5) - 08.11.09.747 • Bentley i-model Composer V8i (SELECTseries 4) - 08.11.09.293 • Bentley OpenPlant Modeler V8i (SELECTseries 5) - 08.11.09.440 (no managed workspace support) • Bentley Raceway and Cable Management V8i - 08.11.08.39 or later • Bentley Map Enterprise V8i (SELECTseries 4) Update 1 - 08.11.09.763 with Bentley Map Mobile Publisher - 05.05.02.11 • AutoPLANT i- model Composer V8i (SELECTseries 8) - 08.11.13.129 running on AutoPLANT Modeler V8i (SELECTseries 8) - 08.11.13.129 • OpenPlant PID V8i (SELECTseries 6) - 08.11.11.218 (no managed workspace support) Note: This list represents the applications that have been tested and which are known to support automated i-model publishing through Bentley Automation Service at the time of the 10.00.02.20 release. The version specified is the minimum supported version - incremental updates and subsequent releases are expected to work as well, but previous versions are not supported . It is expected that other Bentley applications not listed will also support automated i-model publishing in the future. The applications need to be installed on the iCS server with the Power Platform processor. The user selects the application they want to use as part of the job definition. When you select Program Association, documents in the input set that have an associated application installed on the server will be processed by that application. Documents in the input set that do not have an associated application installed on the server will not be processed. You will receive an error in the Job Monitor window for documents that do not have an associated application installed. When you select an specific application, that application will be used as the i-model publishing engine to process all documents in the input set. What format .imodel do these applications create? Using this version of Bentley Automation Service, these applications now create DgnDb 1.6 (0601) format .imodels. Bentley Navigator CONNECT Edition Update 3 or later (either desktop or mobile) is required to view the .imodel files created from this version of Bentley Automation Service.

Forum Post: ICS Administrator: Profile used for Rendition Request
Please explain how to know what Rendition Profile (and options) was used by someone when you select their job in the I_model Composition Server Administrator
↧
Forum Post: RE: ICS Administrator: Profile used for Rendition Request
If the job was submitted as an on-demand job, it will show up briefly in the iCS Administrator but there is not a way to tell which profile was used. If the job is a scheduled job, you can edit the job and see which profile components are being used.

Forum Post: RE: ICS Administrator: Profile used for Rendition Request
Thanks. Thought that was the answer. On-demand jobs can be there for a long time when an issue is hanging up the system. Being able to quickly know what settings were used might speed up the analysis of the problem.

Do you see the same error in the message center if you export the file outside of ProjectWise and try printing it? Can you share a file showing the issue?

Forum Post: RE: Error When Printing From IPLOT Organizer In ProjectWise (GEOPAK SS4 08.11.09.878)
The timing of your email is perfect. I just printed the files two minutes ago (169 files) and they printed with no problem. I did however let it default to the C:\pwise\project directory but I don't think that was the problem. As long as its working I guess I'm OK.

Thanks for the update. My guess is that your Print Engine had some sort of a hiccup as it tried to process one or more files. Please let us know if you encounter the issue again.

Wiki Page: Title Block Attributes are not updating in the rendition of an AutoCAD DWG File
Applies To Product(s): Bentley i-model Composition Server for PDF Version(s): V8i and CONNECT Edition Environment: Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 Area: PDF Subarea: Original Author: Dawn Gentry, Bentley Technical Support Group iCS for PDF V8i and CONNECT Edition will use MicroStation to process AutoCAD DWG files when creating the PDF rendition. If the ProjectWise title block attributes are not getting updated in the PDF rendition, there are two probable causes. When using iCS for PDF V8i and iCS for PDF CONNECT Edition, check the Attribute Exchange Rules in ProjectWise Administrator. Be sure to create the Attribute Class under MicroStation Title Blocks. Typically, you can copy the same section from the AutoCAD Title Blocks section which has already been defined. Next, make sure the attributes are set to update when the file is copied out – enable “Document is “Copied out” in the Properties of MicroStation Title Blocks. When using iCS for PDF CONNECT Edition to create renditions of AutoCAD DWG files, if MicroStation CONNECT Edition is being used as the print engine, the title block attributes will not update without a configuration change. AutoCAD block attributes are not displayed as MicroStation tags by default when displaying in MicroStation CONNECT Edition. When opening AutoCAD DWG files in MicroStation CONNECT Edition, you will see the title block text has a background: and if you analyze it, it is a text node, not a tag element: DWG files are configured to automatically convert to text nodes when displayed in MicroStation CONNECT Edition. To make them display as tags and therefore get updated in ProjectWise, you need to enable this feature. This configuration change needs to be made on the iCS server where MicroStation CONNECT Edition is installed for publishing PDF renditions. From ProjectWise Explorer on the iCS server, open the DWG in MicroStation CONNECT Edition. Next, close the file and check in, you will see the following dialog: Cancel this dialog, you will see the dialog below: Right click on a dwg file and select options: Check the option “Block Attributes as Tags”: This setting is saved to a file called DwgSettings.rsc. This file is typically stored in the user’s preferences folder (the user logged in when setting in DWG options). My file was located here: C:\Users\dawn.gentry\AppData\Local\Bentley\MicroStation\10.0.0_1\prefs\dwgdata I copied this file to a location that was more central to all users for user with iCS for PDF but you could put it anywhere: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MicroStation\10.0.0_1\prefs\dwgdata The following change should be made to the worksets used on the PDF rendition jobs. When opening the DWG files in MicroStation CONNECT Edition, I used the default workset: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\NoWorkSpace\NoWorkSet.cfg. I modified this file as follows: MS_DWGSYSTEMDATA = C:/ProgramData/Bentley/MicroStation/10.0.0_1/prefs/dwgdata/ Restart the ProjectWise Orchestration Framework service so the new changes are picked up. The PDF renditions created should now update the title blocks. Now when you open the DWG file in MicroStation CONNECT, you should be able to see the Title blocks updated and therefore, the PDF renditions will have the correct information as well.
