Leon, One of my favorite sayings is "words get in the way". "Import" has different meanings in ProjectWise depending upon context. I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say "when I right click on the folder where I want to import a document the import item is greyed out...". I'm looking at ProjectWise Explorer v10.00.02.265, the only "Import' command I seen when I right mouse click on a folder is "Import Dependency Map(s)...", which is grayed out. If you mean you want to "import" a file that doesn't already exist in your folder (or even it if does) you can simply drag and drop it into the document pane in PW Explorer. Or you can use the create new document menu command and then select the "Import" option on the "Advance" button in the file section of the dialog. So in this context, "import" means create a new document or version from an existing file that is outside of ProjectWise. If you mean you want to "import" a file that was Exported from ProjectWise, then that Document (file) should show a "Floppy Disk" icon indicating that it was exported. If you right mouse click on that document, you should be able to "import" that document/file into ProjectWise. If it doesn't show a "Floppy Disk" icon, then it wasn't exported and you can't import (in this context) a document that wasn't first exported. Or is your problem something else?
